To create an effective, modular, and most importantly sustainable product, the recycled/cyclable screen optimizes the given properties of reused barn wood to create a facade which is directional yet porous. Three modules, each consisting of perpendicularly stacked wood connected by twine at the intersection, are both structurally co-dependent and flexible; their varying assemblies give hypothetically dynamic alternatives to the original organization. Because of the use of twine, the structure is breathable, flexible, and detachable. Knots, branches, holes, and other typically disregarded imperfections in the wood boards were used to create unique structural details.
